Illini Film and Video is the premier film & video production organization at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. We write and produce our own films and videos based on pitches that members give to the club. We also collaborate with other organizations in the community for whatever video needs they might have. We also host workshops for members ranging from editing to lighting as well as have social events like hosting an Oscar viewing party and going to the Curtis Apple Orchard. Another thing we do every other week is have an under 3 minute challenge, where we invite all members to make a video under 3 minutes based on a specific topics. Past topics have included a vlog, a video based on music, and an educational video. This challenge is meant to help our members keep creating, and then allows us to showcase the work at our meetings. All experience levels are welcome and our membership is free flowing so you can attend any meeting during the year and go to as few or as many as you would like.
